BackFire feature
aka "Robo-Finger"
Our optional BackFire service, aka The RoboFinger allows you to record a custom "greeting" that plays for the spammer. If it detects a human voice to come on the line (yes, we can tell a human from an AI voice) - and then they get to hear how you REALLY feel. We think the vast majority of these will be very short "greetings" consisting of two words!
Layered Defense
More than one way to say “no.”
We combine electronic signal analysis, AI speech patterns and signals, and other proprietary counter-measures to identify robocalls and defeat spammers, in real time - and then we toss the TRASH from the switch. Multiple layers working together mean attackers can’t just pivot around a single filter. We even have other countermeasures that we have not employed yet, for when the evil-doers change their game. We are two steps ahead of them.
Upstream Blocking
Stopped before it rings.
Because SpoofProof operates in the telecom system infrastructure, calls get filtered upstream. That’s fundamentally different from apps that allow the call to reach your phone. Then you still deal with endless rings, tons of transcription texts to check, and clogged voicemail boxes with empty or robo messages. We intercept the bad and pass through the good. Aunt Karen will still be able to reach you, but you can say BYE FELICIA to "Karl" in Kolkata
Guarantee
Every single one of them. Everytime.
If spoofed calls reach you while you’re protected by SpoofProof, we’ll make it right. SpoofProof is backed by a straightforward money-back guarantee.
FAQ
Are you a phone app?
No. SpoofProof operates at the telecom infrastructure layer and blocks spoofed calls upstream. It does not sit or operate from your phone. The only thing that is installed on your phone is a ringer utility. All that does, is enable us to ring your phone when we pass you a real caller. You lose your phone and buy a new one? Just install the ringer utility. There is no lost app setting to restore. No app can do that. SpoofProof is a universal solution.
Why are phone app call blockers a BAD choice?
First of all, a phone app collects your data on your phone. That can end up on the darkweb, and absolutely has. Ask any Chatbot if any of the spam blocker apps have had data breaches or rumored passing of data to third parties. - What permissions does a phone app require you to approve? Think about that carefully. That should be a major concern. Your phone carries just about everything about you that scammers want to know. Also, with an app, you still have the calls coming to your phone and clogging it up with garbage. Your voicemail gets clogged up, or you still have to check and screen the call, or your phone still rings or buzzes. And your call list is polluted with 50 spam calls by lunchtime and you miss real missed calls and voicemails from people who matter. The only thing SpoofProof does is install a ringer utility that allows your phone to ring. We don't require access to ANY of your phone data. None. So your data could never be compromised through us, even if we got hacked.
How is this different from apps that claim to silence spam calls?
An app cannot stop spoofed calls. This is where a scammer uses a familiar looking number to get you to answer. They can even use numbers from your own contact list on your phone (which blocker apps have access to and these leak out through data breaches). Our own founder installed ATT Active Armor and was getting scam calls from caller ID and numbers that indicated it was a friend. Nope. Scammer. Apps can only act after a call reaches your device. This takes up phone resources, can send wanted calls to voicemail while a spam call is ringing your phone, and clogs voicemail. Some phone makers offer a transcription-first solution; you still have to review them one by one. SpoofProof kills a spam call before it rings, eliminating interruptions and voicemail spam. It never even gets to your phone. You never even know it happened.
What phones are supported?

What is the BackFire upgrade?
BackFire lets you play your own custom message to nuisance callers. If a human is detected on the line (we can distinguish human vs. synthetic voices), your message plays—say exactly how you feel.
Who invented SpoofProof?
SpoofProof was created by a former call-center worker who became a victim of constant spam and scam calls—up to 70 per day. With inside knowledge of their tactics, he built SpoofProof to defeat them upstream.
